These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the LeaderBored website and mobile application (the “App”), operated by Pilat Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information, including your name, so the members of your groups can recognize you.
3. User Content and Conduct
The App lets you share game scores, comments, and reactions with members of your groups (“User Content”). You are responsible for the User Content you post.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post content or behave in a way that:
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates others
- Is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or violent
- Is spam, misleading, or impersonates another person
- Violates any law or the rights of others
You can report any comment and block any user from within the App. Blocked users' comments and reactions are hidden from you. We review reports within 24 hours and will remove objectionable content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who post it.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to store and display it to the members of your groups so we can operate the App.
4. Third-Party Games
LeaderBored is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company. Wordle, Connections, Strands, Spelling Bee, The Mini, Pips, and related names and logos are trademarks of The New York Times Company and are used only to identify the games whose results you share.
5. Termination
You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time from Account Settings in the App or at leaderbored.app/account/delete. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above indicates when they were last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
